Terms of Service

Welcome to ClimbIRL. By installing, registering for, or using our mobile application and related API services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of Service & Verification

ClimbIRL is an application designed to encourage positive real-world actions, habits, and community leaderboard challenges. You agree to use ClimbIRL only for healthy, lawful purposes.

A. Account Registration & Credentials

You must register using a valid email address, name, username, gender, and date of birth.
We utilize email-based One-Time Passwords (OTPs) for secure access. You are fully responsible for maintaining access to your own email and protecting your JWT login tokens.

B. Interactive Leaderboard & Fair Play

ClimbIRL features global leaderboard tracking where users compete in total XP, levels, and streaks.
Cheating and System Abuse: You agree not to game, manipulate, or artificially boost your XP. Using automation, scripts, fake email accounts, or sharing token vulnerabilities to bypass task mechanics is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these terms.

C. Task Verification Rules

To earn XP rewards for completed tasks, ClimbIRL may require you to submit verification proof in the form of a photo upload or a descriptive proof note.
AI Proof Evaluation: Photo proofs are automatically evaluated by our integrated Google Gemini-2.5-Flash artificial intelligence helper. The AI evaluates intent and plausibility generously to support your self-improvement.
Prohibited Image Submissions: You agree not to upload fraudulent, completely unrelated, copyrighted, copyrighted stock images, or inappropriate/abusive images. Doing so will result in immediate task rejection and potential account ban.

2. Ads, Rerolls, & Virtual Tokens

The ClimbIRL ecosystem includes rewarded advertisements (integrated via the Google Mobile Ads SDK) and virtual progression items.

Task Difficulty Tokens: You consume virtual tokens (Easy, Medium, Hard, Epic) to create custom tasks. These tokens can be unlocked via in-app achievements or by completing monthly ad-viewing Milestones.
Rerolls: You are granted a limited number of free daily task rerolls. You can unlock unlimited additional rerolls by opting to watch rewarded ads.
No Real-World Value: All levels, XP, badges, achievements, streaks, and difficulty tokens are purely virtual gamification records. They have absolutely no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for real currency, and cannot be traded or transferred under any circumstances.

Crucial Real-World Safety Disclaimer

ClimbIRL incentivizes real-world tasks (such as exercising, hydration, study, and social interaction), but you perform all physical and mental activities completely at your own risk. ClimbIRL and its operator Trackittoo are not liable for any injuries, accidents, health complications, or mental distress resulting from actions taken while trying to complete tasks or maintain streaks inside the app.

3. Intellectual Property

All content included in the ClimbIRL application and API, such as logos, code, visuals, gamification formulas, milestones, text headers, database mechanics, and user interface designs, are the exclusive property of Trackittoo and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and database laws. You may not reverse engineer, duplicate, scrape, or commercially exploit any part of the service without explicit written permission.

4. Termination & Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or restrict access to your ClimbIRL account at any time, with or without prior notice, if we detect fraudulent activity, systematic cheating, toxic behavior, or any violation of these Terms.

Permanent Data Deletion: You can completely purge your account data and history at any time through the in-app menu (Profile Settings → Settings & Legal → Delete Account) as outlined in our Privacy Policy. This action is instantaneous and cannot be reversed or restored.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

ClimbIRL is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI verification will always be online or bug-free.
