At ClimbIRL (operated by Trackittoo), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and process your information when you use our mobile application and backend services.

1. Information We Collect

To provide a highly engaging and personalized real-life gamified self-improvement experience, we collect specific data when you use ClimbIRL:

A. Account and Profile Data

• Basic Registration Info: Your name, chosen username, and email address.
• Profile Attributes: Optional profile information you customize, such as your gender, date of birth, and avatar picture.
• Authentication Records: We use an email-based One-Time Password (OTP) system. We temporarily store verification codes and expirations to authorize your access securely.

B. Gamification, Progress, and Custom Tasks

• Streaks & Metrics: We track your current streak, longest streak, active calendar streak days, total XP, weekly XP distribution, and monthly XP tallies to run the global leaderboard fairly.
• Custom Task Elements: If you use Task Difficulty Tokens (Easy, Medium, Hard, Epic) to create custom personal challenges, we store the titles, categories, custom reward valuations, and due dates.

C. Media and Task Verification Proofs

• AI Photo Verification: If you select a task and choose to upload a photo as proof of completion, we securely transfer and process that base64 encoded photo to verify your real-world progress. These photos are only used to check task intent and validity; they are never sold, reused for marketing, or utilized for biometric identification.
• Proof Notes: Optional text notes you write to describe your achievements are stored alongside your completed tasks.

D. Ads and Notification Settings

• Ad Engagement Counters: We keep a record of the count of rewarded ads you watch in a given month (`adsWatchedThisMonth`) to calculate your monthly Milestone resets and award you Task Difficulty Tokens fairly.
• Device Tokens & Preferences: We collect your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push token and your selected reminder times to deliver custom daily push notifications so you never break your streaks.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information to run the ClimbIRL ecosystem securely and offer an encouraging gamification platform. Specifically, we use your data to:

• Validate, log in, and secure your account using OTP authorization.
• Generate your daily personalized self-improvement tasks and process Level-ups and XP allocations.
• Display live, accurate global leaderboard standings with your level, XP, and customizable username.
• Conduct Generous Automated Task Verification: Using Google's secure Gemini-2.5-Flash artificial intelligence, we review uploaded task photos strictly for genuine intent and plausibility, offering encouraging guidance in return.
• Award Task Difficulty Tokens when you watch Google Mobile Ads and complete monthly viewing Milestones.
• Deliver reminder notifications at your preferred local time.
• Help you recover or completely purge your account data upon request.

3. Data Control & Permanent Deletion

We believe you should have complete ownership of your journey. You have full rights to control and permanently delete your data at any time:

Direct In-App Deletion

You can instantly delete all your data directly inside the ClimbIRL mobile application by going to: Profile Settings → Settings & Legal → Delete Account. This starts a secure, immediate cascade deletion from our active database.

Data Removed Upon Deletion

• Your primary profile registration (email, name, gender, DOB, and username).
• All task history, custom task lists, and uploaded proof notes/tokens.
• All gamification progress (streak records, level rankings, titles, and accumulated XP).
• Your registered FCM push notification token.

Alternatively, you may submit a manual data deletion request by emailing us at support@climbirl.com. We will process manual verification and database purge requests within 7 business days.
